GRAMMA'S

Jordan, Rya, and Morry, and I had to go to our gramma's house today. She has a nice backyard that we always enjoy. The trouble is that she also has a little Jack Russell Terrier named "Devil Dog" - OOPS! I mean "Maddie." She's smaller than most cats I know; she yaps a lot; she doesn't seem to understand the word "NO" - so what's to like? Last week, one of my moms and I had to chase her around her neighborhood because she got loose from leash. She ran like the wind! We just waited for her to tire out. Finally, she crawled under a garden shed, and then came up inside the neighbor's garden fence. My mom grabbed her muddy body and took her home. We spent 45 minutes on that goofy little dog!

JORDAN'S GOTCHA DAY

Today is my brother Jordan's Gotcha Day. In 1998, Jordan ran into our yard, and my mommas gave his some water. He had a collar, but no tags. One of my moms took him to the city pound so that his owners could find him. Because the pound only keeps dogs for one week, my moms checked on him on Friday; no one had claimed him, so they adopted him. He's a handsome, friendly Husky-mix who has been certified to do Dog Therapy work. He and one of my moms regularly go to a local hospital to visit patients. Jordan's a good big brother!

DA WIDDLE WIST

We love "da widdle wist" - meaning Corgese-L at Yahoo Groups - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Corgese-L/. It is a list dedicated to the fun, adventure, and mayhem that corgi kids so frequently get into. Not your typical list, though; the furkids are the ones posting and they are all fluent in "corgese" (of which there are many dialects). Check it out!

CRUMB-DROPPER

I just found out that Emily, the little crumb-dropper is coming tomorrow. She's my moms' granddaughter who is 20 months old. I love when she comes: she leaves graham crackers and Goldfish crackers (in the cup in the photo at right) all over the place! I wish she lived closer so that she'd visit more often!

BUSY, BUSY, BUSY

Ah, another busy day! One mama went to teach and play tennis; the other said she's going for a bike ride, but hasn't left the house yet. She keeps doing things in the yard and on the porch. I just wish she'd get going so I can settle into nap mode! GO!

UP EARLY!

It's around 5:00 am. We were all up early because our power went out last night. My mom thought it was 6:30 when she woke up, so she took us all outside for our morning business. Turns out it was really 4:20! Oh well, since breakfast, I've been chewing a rawhide "chipper," and will settle down for a nap once I finish it. Looks like it's going to be another tough day!
